Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA)

The Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA) was created to enhance the professionalism, integrity and credibility of auditors and organisations who conduct independent social compliance audits, and to promote the use of independent social compliance audits as a tool to advance workplace conditions for workers around the world.

International Associates Limited is one of only a very small number of APSCA Members who attended the Auditor Certification Pilot, held in Turkey on the 9 & 10 November 2017. The pilot was run for 2 days where the auditors completed the exams ranging from multiple choice & short answers, case studies and simulated interviews. During the certification pilot, there have been consultations, discussions and brainstorming to improve the process and identify the key learnings. The summary of results was shared with the Executive and Stakeholder Boards in Germany during the Annual General Meeting in December 2017.

International Associates is a growing organisation that carried out Code of Conduct Audits and Social Accountability Assessments under standards such as SA8000.

All Social Accountability Auditors within International Associates are within the APSCA system and 80% have achieved Registered status, which means they are ready to take the APSCA examinations when they are launched.

All well as SA8000 and Code of Conduct Audits, International Associates conducts against under the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 using a Supply Chain Mapping and Risk-Based Approach.
