International Associates is pleased to announce that it has been accredited by Social Accountability Accreditation Services (SAAS) and can now carry out certification of companies to the SA8000 Standard. The accreditation was formerly for Globalgroup of Companies Limited but was re-structured in October 2017 and the accreditation transferred to International Associates. With the former’s re-organisation, all certificated clients will be under IA.
International Associates assures that all SA8000 clients’ existing certification will not be affected and all previous audits completed and conducted under Globalgroup shall remain valid. New certificates will also be issued to clients to reflect the changes, but such certificates will be given at no additional cost.
This is a significant step in the development for the company and we look forward to working with those companies who have committed to improving labour standards within their supply chains.
