EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) 2023/1115

Due diligence system reviews and risk assessments aligned with Regulation (EU) 2023/1115

Stay compliant. Keep access to the EU market.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is now in force. From December 2024, businesses importing or trading in products like timber, soy, coffee, cocoa, palm oil, rubber, or beef will need to prove that their goods are:

  • Deforestation-free (no deforestation after 31 December 2020)
  • Legally produced according to local laws
  • Fully traceable to the plot of land where they were grown or raised
  • Backed by a documented due diligence system meeting Articles 8 to 10 of the Regulation
  • Accompanied by a due diligence statement submitted to the EU portal

If your products are heading into the EU, you are legally required to meet these obligations. That includes UK exporters and non-EU traders supplying EU-based clients.

How IA UK helps you comply — quickly and confidently

At International Associates, we deliver independent services to help you understand how your current systems match up to the regulations, and what needs improving. We work with companies at all stages of readiness to verify that their due diligence systems, risk assessments and traceability records align with the law.

Our services are fully aligned with Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 — using the same language that your buyers, regulators and partners will expect.
