International Associates Pakistan Hosts Annual CSR Seminar on Ethical Practices and Sustainability

10 February 2026 – [Pakistan] – The Pakistan office of International Associates Limited (IAL) successfully held its Annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Seminar, convening industry leaders and experts to discuss ethical practices and sustainability in Pakistan’s industrial sector.

The seminar opened with an overview of IAL Pakistan’s operations, reaffirming its commitment to global standards and responsible business practices. Mr. Martin Coles, Managing Director, delivered the keynote address, outlining the office’s vision for compliance and emphasising the strategic role of CSR in supporting sustainable international trade.

A highlight of the event was the presentation by Mr. Taj Hussain, Country Representative for Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP). He provided an in-depth overview of WRAP standards and discussed how Pakistani manufacturers can take a leading role in ethical production.

The seminar featured a panel discussion, “Driving Sustainable Growth”, with representatives from prominent textile and export companies, including:

  • Mr. Tanveer Khan – Al-Karam Textile Mills

  • Mr. Shahbaz Ahmed – Interloop Limited

  • Mr. Raffay Bin Rauf – Sapphire Finishing Mills

  • Mr. Ahmed Mirza – Global Exports

Panelists emphasised that sustainability is no longer a peripheral consideration but a key driver of long-term business growth. As one panelist noted, “Sustainability is the bridge between today’s productivity and tomorrow’s prosperity.”
